SL vs Aussi 1st Test – 1 day – Aussi 273 all out

Australia had a tough day today, their 1st Test match againstSri Lanka atGalle, asSri Lanka bowlers restricted their first innings to 273. Having won the tossAustralia opted to bat first but could not secure their wickets for a good score, despite of their sturdy start.

 
Hussey scored 95 and Ponting made 44. The rest in the batting line hardly made any impression.

Sri Lankan bowlers dominated the day, Rangana Herath and Lakmal got 3 wickets each and Suraj Randiv 2.  Welegedara and skipper Dilshan got 1 wicket each.
