Sri Lanka is cruising for a tough 379-run win in the first test being played at Galle, on a bowler-friendly pitch. Two wickets have already fallen for 25 runs in Sri Lanka’s second session at the end of 12 overs.
Today (2nd September) is the third day of the Opening test match, and the match got delayed by the rain. Australia was bowled out for 201 runs giving Sri Lanka a total of 379- run target.
Rangana Herath – the highest wicket taker in the second innings, claimed five for 79 runs. Michael Clarke scored 60.
