Next in line in madam Butenis’s list of “credible politicians” is the former TNA member and one-time Presidential Candidate M.K. Sivajilingam. According to Patricia Butenis, M.K. Sivajilingam has addressed the “Tamil issue” publicly and he does understand it than any other Tamil Politician.
Before moving on, following is particular section of the confidential cable in which madam Butenis states what she gathered from M.K. Sivajilingam and reports to her boss – the American State Department.

5. (S) The one prominent Tamil who has spoken publicly on the issue is Tamil National Alliance (TNA) MP, self-proclaimed presidential candidate, and Prabhakaran relative M.K. Sivajilingam. Breaking from both the TNA mainstream and the pro-government Tamil groups, he launched his campaign because he believed neither the government nor the opposition was adequately addressing Tamil issues. Sivajilingam has focused on creating a de-centralized federal structure in Sri Lanka with separate prime ministers for the Sinhalese and Tamils, but he also has spoken about accountability, demanding an international inquiry to get justice for the deaths and suffering of the Tamil people.
LTTE terrorist organization is defeated and it’s no more. Having failed to get Sri Lanka under control, the so called “powerful” Western countries have now turned the track and supporting pro-LTTE Tamil Diaspora in order to frame Sri Lanka on fake war crime issues. The Diplomatic bodies of those countries in Sri Lanka are the members of this “anti-Sri Lankan Western propaganda”.
So madam Butenis is having discussions with whom she regards as “Tamil politicians addressing the Tamil issue” (but for us these are again pro-LTTE and anti-Sri Lankan politicians) and spying on Sri Lanka.
M. K. Sivajilingam’s “brilliant idea” to de-centralize power and get separate Land and Police powers to them is his indirect way to attempt for their imaginary Freeland. And also he wants to have two Prime Ministers, isn’t that spreading separatism?
If there will be separate Prime ministers for Sinhalese and Tamils, there should also be a Prime minister for Muslims. one to represent our tribal people.
This is totally outrageous !
Have we ever heard of a country having separate Prime ministers to represent each ethnic group ? What if India were to set up that mechanism ? hilarious !
Blabbering of this “psycho terrorist” -Sivajilingam only proves how foolish he is. Sivajilingam seem to be turning into a lunatic. This LTTE boot-licker once cried to acquire separate Land and Police powers to Tamil people. It’s pretty sure that this is another assignment they have got from the West. And this treason would have filled them with millions of Dollars; not even a cent would have gone for the benefit of Tamil people, whom these Sivajilingams are appearing for.
For madam Butenis, these psychos are “prominent profiles” !
Sivajilingam also cries for an international intervention to investigate war crimes which they said to have committed by Sri Lankan Forces; failing to point the finger on the real war criminals; LTTE terrorists, the Americans and the British.
