eAsia 2009 begins today !

Sri Lanka has reached yet another milestone towards its journey to achieve latest technology, by hosting eAsia 2009, Asia’s premiere ICT event at Colombo, under the theme, “Opportunities for Digital Asia”.

eAsia 2009, a full-fledged event commences today (2nd December) at BMICH, Colombo and will go on till 4th December.

Companies from both private and government sectors of 45 countries will participate in eAsia 2009 and the event will comprises of numerous seminars, discussions, technical programs and an exhibition.

Having declared 2009 as the year of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and English of Sri Lanka, the government had become keener on increasing the ICT –literacy especially of the youth.
